ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A toy sold at Walmart and Ollie’s is being recalled.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, two models of Orb Funkee Monkees may be filled with sand that contains asbestos.

The recall applies to Model 17451, a large golden monkey, and Model 41929, which is an assortment of smaller monkeys in various colors. Both will have a date code of 3102491A, which can be found on the hand of the golden monkey and on the backs of the smaller toys.

Consumers are advised to stop using the toy immediately and contact The Orb Factory for a refund. The toy, mask, and gloves should be double-bagged in heavy-duty plastic bags and sealed with tape.

Over 120,000 were sold from February 2025 through April of this year.
