HECTOR, NY (607NewsNow) — The Hector Playground Project (HPP) has started their first donation drive with the help of the Elizabeth B. Pert (Hector) Library.

The Hector Playground Project aims to build a new, inclusive playground next to the Schuyler Strikers home field.

If the library gets 31 new library card sign-ups during the month of January, they will contribute $20,000 to the HPP. Signing up is free, find the Elizabeth B. Pert (Hector) Library’s hours on their website here.

The HPP is accepting donations until they reach their goal of $350,000, make a donation on their campaign site here.
