Cortland woman wins national grocery store sweepstakes

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – A Cortland woman is the winner of a national grocery store sweepstakes.

On September 22, Lori Fritz raced through the aisles at the Route 222 location of Save A Lot for three minutes, grabbing 100 items worth over $600.

Fritz was selected at random from nearly 23,000 nationwide entrants.

Save A Lot was founded in 1977 and is the largest independently owned value-focused grocery retailer in the country. It has approximately 700 stores in 30 states.
