HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) – Let the bargain hunting begin.

Thousands of people are making their way into Central New York as the annual Route 90 Garage Sale kicks off today.

Now in its 39th year, the 3-day sale runs from the Village of Homer in Cortland County to the Town of Montezuma in Cayuga County. Numerous homes participate along the route, with congregate vendor sites set up in various spots, including in Summerhill, Locke, and Union Springs.

Use caution when driving, as the roads will be busy with cars and pedestrians.
