ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) – Lawmakers and residents can get a better idea about crime in Tompkins County.

The Tompkins County District Attorney’s Office unveiled its online data dashboard last week. Tompkins County District Attorney Matt Van Houten says the dashboard only includes information on crime when charges are filed by police, but it’s comprehensive, including information on demographics, felony outcomes, sentencing, jail status, and more. It includes arrest data from every police agency operating in the county, including the Ithaca Police Department, Tompkins County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, Dryden Police, Groton Police, Cayuga Heights Police, Trumansburg Police, Cornell University Police, Ithaca College Campus Police, and TC3 Campus Safety.

The arrest data goes back to 2017.  You can view the full dashboard here.
