Steuben County awarded NYS grant to improve emergency response communications

CORNING, N.Y. (WHCU) — A state grant is headed to Steuben County. 

Legislators received a $5.8 million dollar grant to strengthen emergency response communications between Steuben and neighboring counties like Chemung and Schuyler.

The money comes from New York’s Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Services.
