Ithaca, NY (WHCU) – Cornell University’s placed the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity on probationary recognition for the fall semester.
That’s after discovering the group hazed potential new members through methods like blindfolding, taking away cellphones for a weekend and assigning “disproportionate” cleaning obligations. The Cornell Sun reports the alleged activities took place during 2018’s spring and fall semesters; Cornell found out about it early this year.
If the chapter doesn’t comply with policies for Full Recognition status, their University recognition’s withdrawn.
