Homegrown Local Music Submissions

96.7 The Vine is all about music and highlighting new sounds from Homegrown artists of Ithaca/Cortland and the surrounding areas. If you’re a local musician wanting to get on the radio, we invite you to submit a song for consideration for Homegrown music on 96.7 The Vine.

First of all, we love your passion, and we think you’re awesome! We also must let you know that The Vine can’t play every song submitted for airplay.

We make every effort to listen to every submission! Due to the high volume of music we receive, we cannot promise reviews or replies. If your song doesn’t make it past review, that does not mean you aren’t talented and that we don’t love your music. It simply means it doesn’t fit our current music rotation.

If we think you’re a potential fit for what The Vine audience is wanting from us, we will seek you out and connect about next steps. We will notify you that your song has made it beyond consideration and will move to airplay status.

If The Vine chooses to add your song to our rotation, we’ll need a high quality .wav file. MP3’s and links are great for screening (we love and prefer them for that) but after going through our audio chain, MP3’s, M4A ,etc. tend to get too compressed to sound good during playback into a car radio or via streaming through earbuds, etc.

To submit your music to 96.7 The Vine, please have the following ready when you complete the form below:

  • Link to ONE song you’re submitting for airplay consideration on The Vine.
  • Your song MUST BE FCC CLEAN, in MP3 format, and the files names must be formatted: “Artist – Song Title”
