Gin Blossoms Headliner Sweepstakes Rules


Listeners are invited to register at literock973.com and 967thevine.com from Saturday May 25, 2018 at 5AM to Monday June 4, 2018 at 5AM for their chance to win a pair of Headliner tickets (approximate retail value for a pair $498) to see the Gin Blossoms with Tonic and Vertical Horizon at Tags Summer Stage Friday June 8, 2018. Our winner will also receive a guitar valued at $700. The approximate retail value of the package is $1198. Listeners can go to liteock973.com or 967thevine.com and enter their email address and following the onscreen prompts to enter for a chance to win. One winner will be chosen at random by a Literock973 or 967thevine employee.

Our winner will be contacted by phone and have their first name/city posted online. If the winner is unreachable after 7 days the ticket will be given to the next eligible entrant. Listeners must be 18 years or older to win.

We will make reasonable efforts to award Prizes within 30 days after winning. Tickets will be available for pick up at 1751 Hanshaw Rd. Ithaca, New York 14850 once the prize winner has been notified the prize is ready.

One entry per person. Submitting more than one entry per person will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. in the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address sued to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

 WYXL/WYXL-HD2 contests are open to all eligible New York and Pennsylvania residents 18 or older have not won anything on WYXL/WYXL-HD2 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

 Employees of WYXL/WYXL-HD2, Cayuga Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WYXL/WYXL-HD2 main studio are not eligible to win any contest. 

 No purchase necessary. Prize is not redeemable or transferrable for cash. WYXL/WYXL HD2 sole responsibility will be to award the prize. WYXL/WYXL HD2 shall have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner for any reason cannot or decides not to use any of the prize. Fees and incidentals are not included. Winner will be required to provide ID and w9. Winner will be responsible for any applicable state and federal taxes. This contest is being run concurrently and simultaneously in the Ithaca, New York market with radio stations affiliated with the Cayuga Radio Group, and contests of each station will be competing for the same prize.
