Contest Rules Gin Blossom Sweepstakes


Listeners are invited to register at literock973.com and 967thevine.com from Saturday April 14, 2018 at 5AM to Friday April 20, 2018 at 10AM for their chance to win a pair of tickets (approximate retail value $39.50) to see the Gin Blossoms with Tonic and Vertical Horizon at Tags Summer Stage on Friday June 8, 2018.  Starting Monday April 16, 2018 until Friday April 20, 2018 one winner will be chosen at random by a per day for a total of five winners. Winners will be chosen at random by a Cayuga Radio Group staff. Winners will be contacted by phone and have their first name/city posted online. If the winner is unreachable after 7 days following the date in which they were drawn the prize will be forfeited and a random drawing from all entries will take place and be awarded the next eligible entrant. Listeners must be 18 years or older to win.

We will make reasonable efforts to award Prizes within 30 days after winning. Tickets will be available for pick up at 1751 Hanshaw Rd. Ithaca, New York 14850 once the prize winner has been notified the prize is ready.

One entry per person. Submitting more than one entry per person will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. in the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address sued to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

WYXL/WYXL-HD2 contests are open to all eligible New York and Pennsylvania residents 18 or older have not won anything on WYXL/WYXL-HD2 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WYXL/WYXL-HD2, Saga Communications of New England, LLC, Cayuga Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WYXL/WYXL-HD2 main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

This contest is being conducted concurrently and simultaneously with radio stations in Ithaca New York which are affiliated with Cayuga Radio Group, and listeners of said stations will then be competing to win the same prize.

No purchase necessary. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash. WYXL and WYXL HD2 sole responsibility will be to award the prize. WYXL and WYXL HD2 shall have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, annot or decides not to use any of the prizes. Winners will be responsible for all applicable federal and state taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included and will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
